A translation dictionary is something that grows over time as new words come into our language, new briefs and phrases are created, more writing options are developed, technology changes, and user feedback is received.
These dictionary updates are additions for your base translation dictionary (available from Stenograph, L.L.C.) and are made available to you for download, free of charge. You may not need all of the updates listed under each system below, especially if you recently purchased your base dictionary and the updates are already included in the version you purchased. A description and information to help you determine your need for each update is available.
If you purchased a Phoenix Theory Translation Dictionary, Version 1.7 from Stenograph, you have all of the dictionary updates already in your translation dictionary and do not need to download any files for your CAT system. You may want to print out the handout titled, Cumulative Errata and Dictionary Information for Phoenix Theory Translation Dictionary, Version 1.7.
